Lovely to see the Yellow Flag Iris on our riverside walk this morning with the little bug sheltering from the rain.  It started raining as we were walking but it was a gentle rain and I quite enjoyed being out in it. 
It was disappointing walking through the churchyard this morning as all the orange poppies, ox eye daisy, meadow saxifrage, alexander's, ladies smock and many others have been mown.   It's looking so untidy as all the cuttings have been left, littering the graves and pathways, a crying shame.
