Return of the sun

It was great to see the return of blue sky and sunshine today after a few days of much needed rain. Having stayed overnight in Oban to see a special viewing of upcoming series Hebrides Islands on the Edge, I returned to Mull on the very early ferry and decided to do a coastal walk with the dogs. I love the shape of this tree and the way it frames the small conifer. The forest was alive with birdsong and there seemed to be goldcrests everywhere.
