The Girls

Took a few portrait shots of The Girls as a Mother's Day memento. Kim had just come back from her day out with her girl friends. We sat out on the porch and caught up on the days happenings.

[One of the things I love about our porch is it has a white ceiling which is great for bouncing flash. Without it I wouldn't be able to get decently lit shots. Or at least it feels that way.]

We all had a great time today. The kids and I picnic-ed in the park and flew kites. Kim got to be kid free for most of the day and laughed and chatted with her friends, and caught a movie.

Also while Mom was gone the girls did a big clean up of their room and play area, without any grumbling! I guess it's too much to expect that they could do this everyday!
