Government car collection?

Cars used for the G8 summit being loaded on to a car transporter outside the Foreign Office on Whitehall. As well as these Range Rovers there have been some beautiful, shiny Jags parked in the street for the last view days. I don't know why I didn't blip them earlier on, but today, seeing the Range Rovers being loaded onto the transporter I had to take a photo. I don't think I've ever seen such a valuable load - 8 Range Rovers - on a transporter. And it amused me to think that these cars don't do the drive back to the garage themselves. I've no idea where government cars are kept - presumably somewhere safe and enclosed. Or perhaps they are just leased from the car companies and are going back to the showroom? Definite car envy. We can't afford one right now, and don't suppose we'll ever be in the market for one of these!

On another note, it's Friday!!! So happy not to have to get up at 6am tomorrow! We have a quiet weekend planned and are hoping for some sunshine to enjoy in the garden - fingers crossed.
