Hostas

Heavy rain was forecast overnight, but in the end we only got 1.6mm. There were still some raindrops on the hostas this morning. A late blip as I was at a fab afternoon tea and trivial pursuit event at G&M’s house, with H&M invited too. So nice to get back to some socialising, and we all ended up staying until late evening. G excelled herself with the afternoon tea, beating any I’ve had at a restaurant. I’ll do my commenting in the morning. Just checking in on the chicks, it looks like mum has left them on their own in the nest box tonight - the first bit of separation, no wonder they’re huddled together even closer than normal.
