Palheiro Gardens

A bit overcast today so took a taxi to the Palheiro Gardens in the hills to the east of Funchal. They are situated at about 500m above sea level and have a wonderful collection of plants. Lots of little frogs in the lily ponds and butterflies flitting about, another lovely place to visit.
