Camera Shy

Iris.

I love irises.  Even though we had some rain last night these had no sign of bruising of their delicate structures unlike the fungi in "extra" that seems to have popped up overnight and suffered quite drastically.  We have regular deliveries of horse manure from local riding stables and many of the piles people have moved onto their plots were sporting fungi.
Rabbit is now Ginny's favourite scent.  After last night's encounter she could not wait to get back on track and went straight over to the spot where she saw it.  She's always paid special attention to this large briar patch and two little hollow ways that look like animal access points.  Assumed it must be a fox lair but they look too small.  However as I stood waiting for her to finish her investigation - luckily required to be on a lead at the allotment site otherwise she would have gone straight in -she only weighs in at 3kg and is about the size of a rabbit - I caught sight of a fox we disturbed lying in the sun to dry out after the night's rain slinking into the same briar patch but over the back part.  Can rabbit and foxes live together in the same patch!?
