LOVELY MORNING LIGHT.

At last a wonderful day, nice and sunny and warm. Came upon this little roe deer this morning, and thought it looked lovely with the pool of light behind. Got a little closer with the extra one, then it was off. The other extra is one of the poppies opening. Since I took this it has now opened. Very busy in the garden, and I must apologise to you all if I don't get around to thanking you for your kind comments, stars and hearts, but at the moment there are not enough hours in the day. I do read them and appreciate them, so many thanks.
Roast chicken tonight with jersey royal potatoes, carrots, and asparagus. Then a little treat of a strawberry tart. I think I have earned it today.
