Flying High!

Wow, talk about a full on day.  The fun really started at 9.00am when I met up with Gary P Hayes.  Gary is an amazing photographer and I was delighted to be able to do a one on one Aerial Photography Workshop with him.  I have owned my Drone for just over 12 months and was really wanting to get some training in the skills of flying it.  today was the day and I can tell you it was sensational.  This image was taken out at Mount Wilson and I was thrilled that it was on the Agenda.  Gary has been posting some of his spectacular images from the mountains village and it is such a great area to fly the Drone.  At the moment the Autumn colours are still showing through so it was worth the trip to get this shot.

I’m turning 74 in a few days time and I’ve decided that more than physical training is required, so it’s brain training high on the list.  Learning to fly a Drone has to be one of the best brain training exercises around I reckon and it’s really testing this old Wombat.  All in all a fantastic day and I have so much to practise.
