Marc who built my office shed was round the other day looking at the disintegrating bathroom door. As he walked past my shed, he advised it was ready for a new coat of paint. Just paint on top of that? I ask hopefully. No says he, full rubbing down prep, get someone in.

Mark the painter is now lined up for a quote and I am pondering colours. My immediate thought was bright pink, I sent this to a friend so she could talk me down (she is enviably classy and stylish).

Now I’m thinking the colour of the sea. Feels very safe (boring?) though.
