Quack... again!

I don’t know if this is the same duck as here but it was certainly just as characterful and vocal. What is about most birds’ eyes that make it seem they are looking at you no matter where they are facing? I think it’s something to do with not being able to see a pupil but I’m sure someone else can explain it better.
