Long day and not a good one.
This is my pops before his admission.
Went to work this morning for 8am. Tidied the bomb site that had been left from the previous day.
Had a cuppa then got a phone call from dad saying that the hospital had rung and that they wanted him in ASAP.
My lovely boss let me go. Kev came with me which I was really grateful for. Went to pick dad up and off we went to Nottingham city hospital.
Arrived at the renal clinic to be told that his renal function going on his bloods had got dramatically worse since January.
He had more bloods taken then we ended up waiting 3 hours before we saw a doctor which ended up being the consultant. Did and ECG and bladder scanner. Had two options, come back on Monday to see if things improve or not as the case maybe or be admitted to go on iv frusemide to get rid of the fluid retention. The best plan was to stay in and have a ultrasound of his bladder and possibly a biopsy of his kidneys.
It was so horrible leaving him. He looked so lonely. I've never had to do this before as mum was alive last time dad was admitted to hospital.
I hate to admit this but I'm so scared.
Good thing that happened today -
It was hard to think of one but then I thought that at least dad is in the best place.
