Just for the record

I found this small copper at Lochore Meadows this afternoon.

It is the first one I have seen this year though this is a known haunt of small coppers.  It is the normal form though many individuals here are of the aberrant form with pale blue/white spots on the hind wings.

Brave or Foolhardy?
My extra is a green-veined white nectaring from a cuckoo flower that is occupied by a spider.  Fortunately, it is  not a crab spider. 
The butterfly flew on unharmed.
