Tide's in

Bridlington, looking towards Flamborough Head.
After a visit to RSPB Bempton Cliffs we generally head into Brid for a mooch and something to eat.
A Black-browed Albatross has been at Bempton for some time. It headed out to sea this morning and wasn't seen by me.
Had there not been two rti's on the M62 and a breakdown in lane one causing total gridlock on the motorway and surrounding roads I might have been there in time to catch sight of the Albatross. As it was, a normally 2hr journey turned into a more than 5hr nightmare. Still, mustn't grumble.
