Does anyone know what this is?

It was a study day today, cracking on with Module 2 of my organic skincare formulation training.

I also managed a very brief walk and a catch up with a couple of neighbours. This exotic-looking thing has sprung up in the garden this week and I have no idea what it is. Its clearly something I've stuck in at some point and my plant app isn't helping and would dearly love to know...

S is out for the night so I've had a luxurious bath/home-spa evening, perks of the job you could say :)
