Boy and dog

When should I start saying “young man” rather than boy? He’s 16 now.

Lovely afternoon at river which grandson knows. He poked around in the mud which of course Gyp loved.

He helped me with grandson duties after lunch, cooked by him, and then changed my sheets and emptied the main rubbish and we discussed the compost. This evening he watered plants. We bought strawberry netting but hadn’t realised we needed hoops to droop them over! Another task.

Very hot and dry again. Got lots on next two days, but hope to get away to mobillehome Friday evening.
