Carys and Claire

The only reason I let Carys go to the theatre this close to her first exams was that Claire (Calvert) was debuting as Odette/Odile in Swan Lake. We also hit lucky that Gary was Rothbart so she was extra happy.

The evening was made by Téo deBrueil coming down to find Carys at stage door to give her back her programme from opening night of The Cellist. He had had it since February 2020 when he took it to get her more signatures as few people came out of stage door on the night. Then lockdown hit and bless him, he put it safe in his locker when they were all sent home and it stayed there safe and sound until he returned it to her tonight. She was so pleased she gave him a spontaneous hug and got one back. A Gary hug and a Téo hug all in one night, happy girl.
