Caretta Caretta

We have walked ourselves an inch shorter today. A walk into town. Bus to the beach. Walk along to the turtle sanctuary. Walk to sunbed. Swim. Reading in the sun. Swim. Lying in the sun. Walk from one end of the beach to the other….just over 2 miles! Having a well earned ice cream. River taxi back into town. Walk back to the hotel. Swim. G&T. Shower. Walk back to town.

Now on another G&T whilst we decide where to eat. 18k steps so far.

This turtle was saved after it was found floating (they only float when injured or ill). It had two fish hooks in its throat which were removed and hopefully it will be able to be released soon.
