Wednesday

My Wednesday off.

Hetty and I started with a walk and then spent the best part of the day in the cutting. 

Sedge has become the bane of my life! I cut off the the seed heads and dig up the seedlings. I also remove stinging nettles and little blackberry plants. Of course, it is a battle I shall never win! But it keeps me active, fit and slim. (There is so much pudding and cake at work!)

Tim says he has invited the local Canal and River Trust volunteers to the cutting for tea tomorrow so I brushed off a pile of chairs.

Another walk later. This time with Clive. As far as Hetty is concerned, Clive is more fun than I am.
