Cascades

After a busy day the park with its tranquilty was the place to be. Too tranquil really. There were few people and the bird numbers are dwindling for now. They would have added interest.

Thanks for all those great responses to my blip of yesterday of the net casting spider. When I checked on it this morning it was gone. Its incredibly fine and delicate web was still there so no sign of a struggle. I think and hope it ensnared some prey and took it away to eat it.
