Pottered around outside this morning. Pruned my new hedge again to encourage it to thicken up. One of the plants doesn’t look good. I gave it loads of water and am hoping for the best!
Went over to Js in the afternoon to do a couple of hours weeding. It’s so much easier than last year, though he slipped and fell off his tall wall at the weekend whilst he was clearing weeds from up there.
It was a slow journey home over Trent Bridge at 5pm. There’s a big football match this evening but as kick off isn’t until 7.45 I thought I would miss the traffic. Not so!
L came round in the evening with lots of surplus plants from her garden. Between my garden and Js we will be able to use them all but they need planting quickly as they are all bare root. Looks like that will be a job for tomorrow!
