Bryde’s Whale

This skeleton located in the seaport of Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura) belongs to a 9-meter-long juvenile Bryde’s whale which weighed about 6’000 kilos, dead of natural causes. The Bryde’s whale is one of the largest animals on the planet and the Canary Islands are on the migratory routes.
