Someone posted some photos of a tulip display in one of the gardening FB groups. I was one of several who asked where it was, and I was told that it was at a park in Enfield. It is about a 25 minute drive from where I am. I was trying to figure out when I could get out to see it. With rain and the chance of thundershowers in the forecast for today, I called a rain day so we were not working outside.
I had a merchandising job to get done this week, and when I logged on to the app this morning there was another assignment there, it was at the Sobeys in Elmsdale, the next community past Enfield. I was hoping I would get there between the showers, and luck was with me. Also, it was not as foggy there as it was in the city.
A couple from Switzerland who have settled in Enfield donated $400,000 for this park.
I had noticed the park at Christmastime and had stopped to take photos of the Christmas display there. Some of the others who commented on the FB post say there are a lot of roses there, so it would be a place worth visiting on a regular basis.
