Greystoke Church

Another setback today. The Dear Mate's son rang this morning to say the funeral next Wednesday is off. The post-mortem is being delayed. 18 days after his death and we still have no idea when his funeral will be.

#2 Daughter is here giving us a bit of support at this difficult time. Thinking about death and the fact that Kat always visits her gran's grave, we went to have a good look at headstones in our churchyard. This helped us make a decision about what sort of headstone I should order for mum's grave.

Sadly, all these years later, I still haven't bothered to sort a headstone for her. I got close but then the shop went out of business. Quite by chance, the one we liked best was that of one of her teachers.

A bit more work was needed at the studio, then a trip to take Kat to see Larch Cottage Nurseries and home for a barbeque.
