A wet day

We made it down to Sedgefield, heavy rain most of the way but it cleared up in time to go out for a meal. We went to the Dun Cow, which is where Tony Blair hosted President G W Bush in 2003, commemorated by a plaque. What it doesn’t say is that there was an anti- war protest against the Iraq war, which had started earlier in the year.
