Weeds are gone...

This is the side garden that I see out of my bedroom window and with all the rain we've been having the weeds were taking over... So yesterday and today I pulled all the weeds out of the retaining wall and also the ones that were growing through the rocks on the walkway... Then I put whole newspapers on top of the ground behind the retaining wall and then finished off with sugar cane mulch... That should keep the weeds away for a little while... Once again I have a nice view out of my bedroom window... I'm also going to clean up a pottery saucer and use it as a bird bath for the Willy wagtails that visit me...
