Field of plenty

After a long day in front of the screen I needed to get out for a short while, so R and I went for one of our usual walks in the area. On the way down the Lane I stopped to look at this field, recently prepared and seeded to grow something. Last year it was corn. I like the fact that the field isn’t completely bare. These trees oversee the crops and look imperiously down on any birds which dare to land. Saw a buzzard circling overhead but couldn’t get a good enough shot on the phone.
