At other end of riverside walk from the cow posted some weeks ago.

Very hot and dry again. Last night's thunderstorm brought very little rain.

Wondered if I'd make it home. Walking so difficult and painful now. Really need more shoes. Nothing up to latest "prescription". Due another appointment in June.

Rather a traumatic day. Went to look at another house! Stupid or what? Was just right. Much easier to cope with.

That's why we took walk along river. To see back of that house.

Long talk about the whole situationto old friend in England tonight. Helps a lot.
