Mottisfont
Today, I had another awayday, this time to Mottisfont Abbey (NT property near Romsey) with two friends. We did a horticultural course together some years ago, so we like visiting gardens, although nowadays our conversations range far and wide, and well beyond gardening! Mottisfont is famous for its rose garden, which is at its peak in June. However, there are some lovely irises, (see extra) geraniums and early roses already in bloom. My blip shows "Constance Spry" a stunning climbing rose.
I bought myself a tiny rose, Rosa alpina "Cutie Pie".
Yes, I was rather swayed by the name!
Thank you for your kind messages, hearts and stars yesterday on my 500th blip.
