New Walking Poles

We went in to Cambridge today as the physiotherapist at Addenbrookes suggested walking poles, told us which ones to get and where to get them. They did not have any of the make he suggested, but my husband purchased a different pair. Unfortunately one of them kept collapsing as he walked away from the shop. He took it back and they discovered that all of the remaining poles of that make were faulty. In the end they made a good one from three others. So today’s picture had to be him walking with his new poles. They have helped his balance and it makes him stand up straighter than two walking sticks, which I have always said were too low!

The temperature today at noon today was nineteen degrees Celsius. Sunny with an odd rain shower or two.
