Mellow Yellow

Last week the Forsythia shrub was bare and today it is in full bloom. I am continually cutting it back and it still does me proud every year.
Decided that I need some new walking boots and trawled round the shops today. Far too much choice. Am tempted to get the same again as I know they are comfortable. Two friends went with me and they had no intention of buying anything. One bought sandals and the other bought a waterproof jacket. I came away empty handed!
