Orchard work party

We are aiming to have a monthly work party during spring, summer and autumn at the community orchard and we were very encouraged by the number of folk who turned up to do whatever needed to be done.  People of all ages, including children took part. The raised beds were planted with vegetables, the fruit bushes in the fruit cage were weeded and fed, paths were mowed and the fruit trees mulched, all in two hours. A super community effort.
