Flowering currant bush

What a difference a day makes.

After the rain, hail and gales of yesterday, today we had some sunshine and just a light breeze. Most pleasant really.

The sun obviously sparks a productivity gene in me. I spent the morning trawling recruitment websites and finally there are a potential opportunities that might just be promising. Couple of interviews set up for next week with the relevant agencies to initially assess my suitability. Why do companies not advertise directly? Using recruitment agencies just adds an additional hurdle. Anyway, its a start.

This afternoon was spent clearing plots in the garden, back breaking, but rewarding when you see them ready to be planted up. Even managed to get a touch of sunburn...what's that all about? It wasn't supposed to be any more 12 degrees! Must be the winter palor.

This shot is from a Flowering currant bush, which has just sprung to life in the last few days. It will be dripping with the red flowers within the next few days, and gives of a great aroma.
