What a difference a day makes....

Yesterday we were forecast to have rain throughout Saturday night.  Unfortunately it arrived about twelve hours late which has meant that today  began with heavy grey clouds followed by the delayed rain which went on until the early evening.  I did manage to pop out to the front garden during a dryer interlude and photograph this very pretty rose 'Handel', which climbs the wall of our house.  If you look carefully you'll see a bonus insect and a couple of raindrops.
This evening we had a family dinner cooked by daughter #2  and then spent quite a large amount of the evening laughing at the Snapchat crying filter.  Pics and videos will be shared amongst family only!
