quarrelling with my tools
The lunar eclipse this evening was another reminder that you need to be prepared to get really good pictures. A malfunctioning tripod, a telescope whose instruction manual remains unpacked in one of the boxes in the garage and a general lack of foresight made it impossible to get a great image of the "blood moon". Nevertheless, watching it in the sky, changing colour as the earth and its satellite danced their cosmic tango was very cool indeed. The images created captured a moment if not perfectly the phenomenon itself.
