Lunch by the Makarora River

Today 12 members of the walking group drove to the Blue Pools car park, and walked from there through the bush to the Makaroa River and down the track towards the Young River.  It was beautiful and sunny, we left the cloud inversion behind us in Wanaka.

The extras are (1)  Walking through the bush  (2)  The Blue River  (3)  The bridge over the Blue River.  The other 3 are the Fungi that I photographed on beside the track.  

We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe before heading for home, where the sun was shining.   All in all a super day out with great friends.
