Today (Saturday) was the annual Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger drive. They collected donations of non-perishable items for the Community Food Bank. I had a big bag of stuff but missed the pick up at my mailbox. So I looked around the neighborhood for one not yet picked up. Luckily, it was on the next corner.

There was a mass shooting in Buffalo today. An 18-yr old, from a small, 95% White town, drove over 200 miles to shoot up a grocery store in a predominantly black neighborhood of the city. According to what I read, it’s the worst mass shooting since the Walmart in Texas which targeted Mexicans in 2019.

I just don’t understand this race-based hate. To be honest, I don’t understand hate at all.
