Learning to Love

First of all, thanks so much, Blippers, for all your kind comments re our Angel Architect yesterday, so appreciated.

The readings in church today were about love and how people will know we are Jesus' disciples by the way we love each other (John 13:35)*. My thoughts turned to our first friend in Mourão, Zé Maria, who we'd not seen for ages even though we'd been to the Adega, and who we'd heard was struggling with his drinking...

So it was lovely to see him at the Adega, albeit a bit worse for wear already. Also lovely that he accepted an invitation to lunch at the new Pátio with us. He's had Covid, too, think it's taken a lot out of him...

Gratefuls:
- my first sweet pea has flowered, a creamy white one, so thrilled, and it smells gorgeous
- watching Deb do a great job of the 8:30 Livestream, with Dan
- the almost full moon, so beautiful as we got back home (second extra) with the still empty platform for a stork's nest
