Party

Today was CyclopsJnr's 8th birthday party (his birthday will follow later this week) and this was a particularly exciting occasion for us all because Covid meant he didn't get a 6th birthday party and his 7th birthday party was online.

We actually ended up repeating his 5th birthday party - we hired a giant inflatable assault course and put it in the school sports hall. People seemed to like it last time, it is a change from the usual local party options, and you don't need to worry so much about numbers.

We had I think 26 children there including classmates and other friends from school, family friends, and friends that live in our street. And Granny!

There was an hour of rampaging, a few party games, and party lunch.

It seemed to go down really well.

Afterwards we were all tired and we were happy to chill out at home and watch CyclopsJnr open the generous gifts that his guests brought.
