April Rain Song

Even though it's May... Our choir does a version of this poem (below) that we will be singing next Sunday as our final sing. Today it was a perfect song as it was lightly to moderately raining the whole time we were out singing today. I can't say how magical it has been to sing outside this whole year from the autumn to losing the light and the snow coming and then starting up in the new year and it was so cold but slowly warming and the light coming back. I didn't take a picture today because of the rain but it is so full of spring green now.
My blip today is what I was doing in the drizzle this morning... first pass weeding. Just a bit overwhelming but I'm getting there.

April Rain Song

Let the rain kiss you
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops
Let the rain sing you a lullaby
The rain makes still pools on the sidewalk
The rain makes running pools in the gutter
The rain plays a little sleep song on our roof at night
And I love the rain.
