We arrived in Keswick about 4 pm and after a quick charge up at Booths we went for our favourite first evening walk up Castlehead . It’s about twenty minutes from the door and you get these amazing views across Derwentwater to Catbells and Causey Pike. We walked down to the Dog and Gun for a swift pint. The weather forecast is disappointingly poor for tomorrow so not sure what we’ll do.
