Anomie

This was the phone snap I took today to Freecycle some more of the plants I'm digging up. So far, I've supplied plants to about 30 households and to one plant sale and inevitably the pretty ones disappear fastest. I'm very pleased that they are not just going onto my compost heap (reuse before recycle) but I am perplexed that people who presumably are interested in plants will take what they want from the buckets and leave other plants strewn on the ground, roots out of water. I go out regularly to tidy up, to top up the buckets with the next lot I've dug up and to rescue the scattered plants but why, humans? I don't understand you.
