Sunny Days

A very appropriate name for today - such a beautiful one!

We had breakfast at the Victory this morning, then packed up and checked out, and drove over to East Mersea, to Cudmore Grove Country Park.  Had a lovely walk all round there - so pretty.  We then drove back over to West Mersea, for a look at the beach huts (where my Mum's family used to own one when she was a girl), and to get some lunch at a cafe.  Lovely sitting there looking at the sea while we ate, and people watching too :)

We drove home after that - nice easy journey, and then a nice restful afternoon and evening - albeit a late one, as we watched Eurovision right through to the end.  So glad that Ukraine won (and weirded out that the UK came second).
