Paved

It had been a few months since I last walked along the Banknock Railway Path and I wasn't prepared for the shock that greeted me this evening - the path has been paved!

Previously it had been a combination of earth and gravel and stones at different parts along its length and one could both hear and feel the different surfaces as one walked along. There was something uniform and characterless about today's walk. Not all change is for the good, in my opinion.
