By the River

The weather this  morning was a lot better than forecast so after a lazy start we decided to take advantage of some sunshine and take a trip out to Fiskerton Fen. 
Quite a few bits around but no real photo opportunities as the butterflies  spent the time flying around the singing birds decided to hide in the reeds or bushes. a few swallows but again to fast on the wing . It was just nice to be out enjoying the wildlife and we only saw 1 couple .
This shot was taken on the river bank and as you can see from the water there was a fairly strong breeze but not unpleasant.

Back home via Lidl where we grabbed a few bits for a snack lunch  some nice crusty bread . An afternoon watching some entertaining football and now an evening of general TV / Netflix . The weather has changed now and is rather damp and grey as forecast so pleased we made the most of it this morning
