Scholes Lane

A bit of car washing and a short walk this afternoon. 

It's unusual to come across vehicles on Scholes Lane and this jeep was kicking up lots of dust in the dry conditions.

Several orange tip butterflies, a couple of swallows and some young calves in the fields at the side of the lane.

This evening, for the first time in many years, I watched the Eurovision Song Contest. Well done to the winners - Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine and also to Sam Ryder for putting the UK in second position.
