Hospital Car Park

It is like a reality game show. I only wanted to drop a bag in for my son-in-law. So there is no drop off area, so you have to go into the car park. To be fair to them they give you twenty minutes free. After that you pay the full hour charge. I have an aversion to paying unnecessary car parking charges. I went into the reception and they rang the ward and there was no answer. I couldn't blame them for that. I know never to pick up a phone unless you are 100% sure it is for you. Otherwise you end up as an agony aunt trying to solve someone else's problem. 

The receptionist tried intercomming them as well but there was no answer either. I set off in search of the ward. Success, I found the ward. Handed over the bag to the ward staff. Headed back to the car, dipped in under the twenty minutes. Success, no charge. 

I am getting like my father who used to turn off the lights and heating at a certain time at night to save costs. To be fair to him he came from a time when people had nothing.
