This is the biggest of the local rivers, photographed from Blue Gum corner near Brooklyn, as we passed late this morning. As you can see, it has been another grey day, with persistent rain arriving this afternoon.

It was quiet, with no wind and pleasant walking along the stony riverbank. Welcome swallows put in an appearance and the sound of water tumbling over river stones added to the joy of nature.
