Voluntary Detour

These signs set up by a nature group in the village ask drivers to avoid using the road from 21:00 to 7:00am during the toad migration time. In many parts there are elaborate tunneling & fencing alongside motorways & main roads, many with official speed limits & road closures. Often you will see groups of people out at night with headlamps & buckets helping them across the road. Our pond is full of spawn from frogs & newts.
Not sure if the other sign is connected in any way.
