M&S at Kirkgate Market

On a trip to Kirkgate market at lunch I noticed that Marks and Spencer had a new stall at the market. After a quick googling session back in the office I found out that M&S was established nearly 130 years ago as a penny bazaar when it opened in the market in the 1880s.

Its great to see more of Leeds' heritage and it will be interesting to see what happens with the market in the future, being one of the current regeneration schemes in my department at the Council.
